Although the NBA finally got their season together, something just doesn't look right. First of all, lets start with the NBA League Pass which still cost about $170.00 for the entire season package. If you're unfortunate enough to have Time Warner Cable as I do, you get 1 to 2 blacked out games per night on the League pass channels. This is not including your local team's game which you expect to be blacked out. I complained to Time Warner Cable and was told it was left up to the NBA to show whatever games they wanted to show on TV. So, this will be my last year paying for this package.
I should have known better especially the way the league quickly put together this pathetic schedule of 66 games. Please tell me why a few days ago the Lakers flew over 3,000 miles to play 2 back-to-back games against Miami and Orlando , just to board a plane and fly back home to Los Angeles? While you're explaining that one, please tell me why the NBA Allstar ballots were available just 3 weeks after the season barely started.
Who's playing at an all star level when they all came into camp out of shape (hint: Dirk) . It appears the NBA is forcing this season down our throats, pretty much like their forcing us to watch the Los Angeles Clippers 3 times a week, and by late June they will be forcing us to watch the Miami Heat win the NBA Championship,,,,,,,no matter what else happens in the league,,,,,,,things just might have been better if they had played the following season!!!
